Program Description
Summer 2025

This English Summer Camp Immersion Program is designed for middle-high school students from Ukraine who have at least intermediate English language proficiency. The purpose of the camp is to help students improve their verbal English language skills (speaking and reading) while having fun and exploring Budapest. The program is led by volunteers from the United States, who are native English speakers. The camp offers a variety of activities and excursions that will help students learn English in a fun and engaging way.

  • When

    June 23-27, 2025
    Hours: 9:30 - 16:00

  • Where

    Base location is at JCC Budapest: Révay u. 16, Budapest 1065 Hungary

  • What

    Camp will be providing lunch and snacks and tickets to the attractions.
    Camp participation is free. However, commitment to all 5 days is required.

Activities

The Program offers a variety of activities and excursions that will help students learn English in a fun and engaging way. Some of the activities will include

  • Classes

    English classes, including reading and discussing articles and books.

  • Final Presentation

    The week will be concluded by a final presentation that each group will make.

  • Visits to Parks

    Some classes may take place in parks, weather permitting.
    Playing sports games.

  • Excursions

    Excursions and trips to popular tourist attractions in Budapest, like the Buda Castle, the Hungarian Parliament Building, the Danube River, the Wildlife Park, etc.
