English immersion program at summer camp 2023

Program Description

This English Summer Camp Immersion Program is designed for middle-high school students from Ukraine who have at least intermediate English language proficiency. The purpose of the camp is to help students improve their verbal English language skills (speaking and reading) while having fun and exploring Budapest. The program is led by volunteers from New York, who are native English speakers. The camp offers a variety of activities and excursions that will help students learn English in a fun and engaging way.

  • When
    June 26-30, 2023, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m
    Morning program: 9:30 - 12:00
    Afternoon program: 13:30 - 15:30.
    * Students may register for morning or afternoon sessions only or both.
  • Where
    Base location is Ukrainian Educational Space. Address: Budapest, 1088, Szentkirályi str, 38.

    However, the camp participants will visit various places of interest in Budapest.

Activities

The Program offers a variety of activities and excursions that will help students learn English in a fun and engaging way. Some of the activities will include

  • Classes

    English classes, including reading and discussing articles and books.

  • Final Presentation

    The week will be concluded by a final presentation that each group will make.

  • Visits to Parks

    Some classes may take place in parks, weather permitting.
    Playing sports games.

  • Excursions

    Excursions and trips to popular tourist attractions in Budapest, like the Buda Castle, the Hungarian Parliament Building, the Danube River, the Wildlife Park, etc.
